When a brain injury survivor, family member, caregiver, or professional turns to BIAC for assistance, that assistance is provided by a Brain Injury Specialist. A Specialist's  role is to offer the individualized support, advocacy, and guidance required to ensure that the often complex and overwhelming challenges experienced folllowing a brain injury are handled more easily and effectively.

A survivor, family member, caregiver, or professional may simply require the name of a specific resource. When the need is more complex, however, our Brain Injury Specialists provide the guidance and support required to identify and link an individual to appropriate services and programs. Self–advocacy skills are also established as survivors and family members move toward their goals.
